Responsibilities
  • Grow the group home and auto portfolio by adding new group accounts and increasing penetration with existing group accounts
  • Cultivate and build strong relationships with key stakeholders of existing group home and auto clients
  • Prospect and activate new corporate clients interested in offering their employees a compelling group home and auto program
  • Build and maintain excellent customer experience for both sales and service pipelines with in-person meetings at company events
  • Cultivate and build strong relationships with existing dealers across Alberta as part of our recreational vehicle program
  • Grow the recreational vehicle program by adding new dealers and supporting them with customer-friendly solutions for new sales
  • Keep the recreational vehicle program “top of mind” with dealers through regular visits and point of sale support
  • Attend and participate in various recreational vehicle trade shows and industry events
  • Be a leader and solution provider to the client
  • Out of office travel 50-75% of the time, including occasional weekends and evenings
Qualifications
  • 2-3 years of related experience in sales or business development
  • Strong business acumen and comfortable with prospecting
  • Ability to build rapport quickly with a diverse audience
  • Self-motivated and accountable for your sales cycle and sales results
  • Proactively driving new sales opportunities with the backing of tools and support to deliver an excellent customer experience
  • Team-player with the ability to work independently, collaborate, interact and build effective relationships
  • Excellent organizational skills for tracking and reporting

Personal Lines New Business Broker

Responsibilities
  • Focus on responding to inbound quote requests for Personal Insurance through a variety of sales channels
  • Working to meet or exceed annual sales targets.
  • Develop relationships with potential clients by assessing their insurance needs, providing coverage recommendations and completing risk assessments.
  • To ensure the focus remains on new business, once the risk is bound and issued, the new client will be assigned to a servicing broker for future handling.
Qualifications
  • Alberta Level 1 License required and working toward level 2 is considered an asset
